The CLF 22 is a part of the sports fishing line from Italian boat builder Ranieri. The CLF models are designed as no nonsense fishing platforms with protection offered from the elements via enclosed cabins designed to keep you warm and dry in the most hideous conditions.
At 6.60 metres long and with a beam of 2.50 metres, the CLF 22 is the baby of the range but is incredibly capable in its own right. Whilst primarily a fishing boat, some luxuries are available, including a forward sun pad and usable cabin space. There is also a small dinette, the perfect place to serve up lunch when the fishing has slowed.
The helm position is beautifully appointed with a single pedestal seat and array of switches ahead. There is enough space to add a multi-function display of your choosing. Behind the helm is a small cupboard for storage and a sink for clean-up.
The cockpit is open, save for a small bench style seat at the transom which offers a spot to relax without impacting on the fishing space. There is an optional teak table to turn this area into an outdoor dining zone. There is storage underneath the seat and a walkway to port that leads to the swim platform by the outboard. The floor is finished in non-skid fibreglass with an option to upgrade to Seadeck.
It really is up to you how far you would like to take your CLF 22. With options for a television, water tank, canvas cover or air conditioning, you could turn this into a go-anywhere craft. When you look at the competitive set for a 6.60 metre enclosed cabin, not many are as manageable as the Ranieri CLF 22.
