Contender 39 Fisharound

The Contender 39 Fisharound or 39FA is a fishing boat with a difference. Contender have catered for the fisherman looking for comfort with a small cabin in the console, complete with a bed, cooktop, microwave, sink, television, marine toilet, and shower. It blends the fishability of a centre console with the convenience of a cabin boat. Offering something for everyone when it comes to comfort and luxury.

But the luxury does not end there. There is individual bench style seating for three behind the console, a large double sunlounge located immediately ahead of the console and an ‘L’ shaped bench seat in the rear port corner of the boat. Luxury fishing at its finest.

While there is plenty of convenience, Contender have stayed close to their roots with the Contender 39 Fisharound. The rest of the boat is open and spacious, maintaining the 360-degree fishability of a centre console. The captain’s console is laid out offering full access to a twin screen multi-function display arrangement with unique and well-crafted design that still allows room for passengers at the helm.

There is plenty of storage behind the helm seating with a slide out esky/seat, a storage compartment, and drawers. Overhead is a hard T-top with an option to add Contender’s Custom Fishing Tower. The complete second station up top keeps you in control of position and the fish when they are boat side.

The Contender 39 Fisharound can take up to a massive 1600hp making it a true offshore weapon, capable of getting you there fast and in complete comfort. You could achieve speeds over 100km/h in open water and with a standard 1,741-litre fuel tank there will be no limits.
